Carbondale Loop Is Up & Running!
The Carbondale loop has been successfully completed! All electric wiring, track, and turnout controls are now in place, extending the reach of trains within our Belmont Shore Railroad layout. While some scenic work remains to be done, this milestone marks a significant achievement, and we’re proud of our members for their dedication in seeing this project through to completion.
On the left, you’ll find a photo of the turnout diagram and the controls themselves. Negotiating the turn will require the attention of skilled engineers, but such challenges are inherent in train engineering. We look forward to showcasing some new scenery soon, so be sure to come down and check out the latest updates!
